Job Description
- Operate and monitor the Monolayer/Multilayer Blown Film Extrusion Plant for manufacturing biodegradable and compostable films.
- Set up and optimize extrusion process parameters to ensure stable production and consistent film quality.
- Operate the Flexographic Printing Machine and ensure accurate print registration, ink quality, and print consistency.
- Prepare inks, printing cylinders, and make machine settings for different production jobs.
- Maintain film quality, including thickness, width, winding, sealing performance, and appearance.
- Monitor production output and minimize material wastage.
- Troubleshoot extrusion and flexographic printing machine issues to reduce downtime.
- Perform routine machine cleaning, changeovers, and basic preventive maintenance.
- Maintain production records, machine logs, and quality documentation.
- Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and 5S practices while achieving daily production targets.
Requirements
ITI / Diploma or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
2–5 years of experience operating Blown Film Extrusion and Flexographic Printing machines.
Experience in biodegradable/compostable film extrusion is preferred.
Knowledge of machine setup, process optimization, and troubleshooting for blown film extrusion and flexographic printing.
Ability to maintain film quality, print registration, ink consistency, and production efficiency.
Basic knowledge of preventive machine maintenance and workplace safety.
Experience in biodegradable/compostable film manufacturing is an added advantage.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Responsible, disciplined, and a team player.
