Job Description
- Operate Side Sealing, Hot Sealing, and Double Decker Bottom Sealing Machines for manufacturing biodegradable and compostable bags.
- Set up machines according to bag specifications and production requirements.
- Ensure accurate print registration (photocell/eye mark alignment) for precise cutting and sealing.
- Maintain bag quality, including dimensions, seal strength, cutting accuracy, and overall finish.
- Monitor machine performance and achieve daily production targets with minimal material wastage.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
- Inspect finished products and ensure they meet quality standards before dispatch.
- Maintain production records and machine logs.
- Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and 5S practices while ensuring efficient production.
Requirements
ITI / Diploma or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
2–5 years of experience operating Side Sealing, Hot Sealing, or Double Decker Bottom Sealing bag making machines.
Experience in print registration (photocell/eye mark sensing) to ensure accurate cutting and sealing according to printed artwork.
Knowledge of machine setup, cutting, sealing, and troubleshooting.
Ability to maintain bag dimensions, seal strength, print alignment, and production efficiency.
Basic knowledge of preventive machine maintenance and workplace safety.
Experience in biodegradable/compostable bag manufacturing is preferred.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Responsible, disciplined, and a team player.
